Here’s a recap of how I did with my predictions. The official Top 10 estimates are below.
I’ll give myself a “C”, but I’m a tough critic:
1) The Town $18.5M – Got it right @ #1, but missed the $$$ by a lot.
2) Easy A $15.6 – Underestimated the $ as well. Bigger overall weekend than I had thought.
3) Resident Evil: Afterlife $13.7
4) Alpha and Omega $12.4 – Had it 5th, thought it would make more $ than it did.
5) Devil $12.0 – Placed higher than I thought, but I nailed the $.
6) The American $4.3
7) Takers $4.1 – Flip-flopped 6 and 7.
8) Machete $2.9
9) The Other Guys $2.2 – Nailed this.
10) Going the Distance $1.8
I didn’t have “Inception” or “Eat, Pray, Love” on my list, but they’re both still holding-on.
Overall, not great. I will try to do better next week.
