Blake Lively rose to fame on TV’s “Gossip Girl” and in 2011’s “Green Lantern”, co-starring future husband Ryan Reynolds. Director Jaume Collet-Serra has directed a number of action thrillers starring Academy Award nominee Liam Neeson. These films include the identity crisis film “Unknown”, the airplane mystery “Non-Stop” and last year’s crime drama “Run All Night”, also with Ed Harris and Common. “The Shallows” is the latest shark attack thriller, joining the iconic “Jaws” and the modern day satire “Sharknado” TV movies.
