“Paul Blart: Mall Cop” is one of the funniest films I’ve seen in a long time. If you missed it when it was out, now’s your chance to see it on DVD.
The movie stars Kevin James as an “out of shape” security guard who works in a New Jersey shopping mall. Blart wants to be a State Policeman and also wants a girlfriend, but is having trouble on both fronts.
On “Black Friday” a group of bad guys take over the mall…looking to steal millions of dollars and Blart is the only Mall Cop in the building…so it’s up to him to save the day!
Kevin James is hilarious. He was born to play this part. There are a ton of great scenes and big laughs.
This is from Adam Sandler’s “Happy Madison” Production company…and it’s funnier that any movie Sandler has starred-in in a long time.
“Mall Cop” is rated PG. There are a few fighting scenes and the bad guys use guns…but no one gets killed and there’s no blood. By keeping it PG, the studio was able to attract the family audience in theaters and will also now that it’s out on DVD.
On “The Official Kid Critic Report Card“, “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” gets a B+. It made over $146M at the box office and DVD sales should be tremendous. If you’re going to buy it, it’s only right that you get it at a Mall.
