The “Mission: Impossible” movie franchise began with 1996’s “Mission: Impossible”. It was followed by “Mission: Impossible II” in 2000 and director J.J. Abrams’ “Mission: Impossible III” in 2006. “The Iron Giant”, “The Incredibles”, “Ratatouille” and “Tomorrowland” director Brad Bird re-vamped the series with 2011’s fourth chapter “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol”. These four movies, all starring three time Academy Award nominee Tom Cruise, grossed a combined $2.1 Billion at the worldwide box office. Cruise is known for pulling off dangerous, death defying stunts in these films, and ‘Rogue Nation’, the new fifth installment, is no exception. This time, the director is Christopher McQuarrie of ‘Jack Reacher’.
