This could come down to the actuals, but even though “Mad 3” is in a lot more theaters, not everyone is out of school yet, and the “Prometheus” midnight shows did pretty well, which go into the weekend. What could end-up happening is that more people will go to “Mad 3”, but because of IMAX and Adult ticket prices (which are more than kids), “Prometheus” will edge-out “Madagascar 3” in terms of box office, However, that could change next weekend.
