Fearing that the actions of Superman are left unchecked, Batman takes on the Man of Steel, while the world wrestles with what kind of a hero it really needs. (WARNER BROS.)
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is the follow-up to “Man of Steel” in the DC Extended Universe. It marks the second time Henry Cavill has portrayed Superman – and the first for Ben Affleck as Batman. Joining them are Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane and Jesse Eisenberg as the evil Lex Luthor. “BVS” is directed by Zack Snyder, whose previous films for WB were “300”, “Watchmen”, the animated “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole”, “Sucker Punch” and “Man of Steel”. He is also an executive producer of this summer’s “Suicide Squad”, starring Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie.
