“LATE NIGHT” – Jan. 25 (Sundance Film Festival Premiere)
Emma Thompson plays a late night talk show host, and Mindy Kaling is her head writer. Kaling also wrote the screenplay. I love movies about TV.
“COLD PURSUIT” – Feb. 8
Another Liam Neeson action movie. Enough said.
“THE LEGO MOVIE 2: THE SECOND PART” – Feb. 8
5 years later, we finally get the sequel to the Critics Choice winning, Oscar category snubbed, animated feature.
“HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON: THE HIDDEN WORLD” – Feb. 22
DreamWorks’ first animated feature in a year and a half is also the epic conclusion to one of their most successful franchises.
“TYLER PERRY’S A MADEA FAMILY FUNERAL” – Mar. 1
It’s the end of an era for the iconic character.
