So the writers strike is finally over. It’s too bad so many TV shows are getting cancelled because of the strike. The good news is that the movie studios are starting to work on new films. And the other good news, of course, is that the Academy Awards ceremony will go on, as scheduled.
But now what? Can it be? There’s talk that the Screen Actors Guild members may begin a strike of their own beginning in June. Aye Carumba! I guess that could mean a lot more documentaires and animated films, with writers, animators and regular people doing the voices.
Enough already with all these strikes. I say let’s have a strike on strikes!
