I’m just a few days away from voting for nominees for the Critics Choice Awards. For the past several months, studios have been campaigning hard for their candidates to recieve the votes needed to get them on the final ballot. However, this year, more than any other, instead of simply putting-up all or most of their films up “For Your Consideration”, the majority of studios have entered only a handful of their 2016 releases for the competition, ignoring many worthy efforts.
Heres’ the list movies are NOT included on their respective studios’ For Your Consideration websites, meaning they are not being pitched to awards voters – and why I think each is being treated unfairly.
