“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is the third “Star Wars” film under the Disney name and the second in the core “Star Wars” saga. 2015’s franchise reboot “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was nominated for 5 Academy Awards, including Best Film Editing, and earned more than $2 Billion worldwide. 2016’s spinoff “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”, with Oscar nominee Felicity Jones (“The Theory of Everything”), was up for 2 Oscars and grossed over $1 Billion globally. “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” director Rian Johnson previously helmed “Brick”, “The Brothers Bloom” and the 2012 sci-fi action thriller “Looper”, starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Emily Blunt.

The BFCA’s annual Critics Choice Awards is one of the industry’s most recognized and prestigious awards shows. Jackson is also a member of SAG-AFTRA and votes annually for the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Currently, Jackson can be heard every Friday morning on WGNA-FM and his reviews are also posted on his website, YouTube channel and Cultjer.com. He is also a contributor to AnimationScoop.com, run by animation historian Jerry Beck.
