“Madagascar” was one of my favorite movies of 2006 and I’m really looking forward to the sequel, which will hit theaters on November 7th.
What the movie will be called, right now, is anybody’s guess. The title was originally going to be “Madagascar: The Crate Escape”. But Dreamworks just announced that they have changed the title to “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa”. You may have seen the preview for the movie, hosted by Ben Stiller, on the “Bee Movie” DVD, which came out on March 11th. At that time the movie was still being called “The Crate Escape”. Now, only a few weeks later, the name’s been change. And since there’s still 7 months till the movie comes out don’t be surprised if the name changes again.
It’ll be going-up against the 22nd James Bond film (“Quantum of Solis”) on Nov. 7. I say Marty, Alex and company beat Bond at the Box Office.
