My Florida vacation was great. One of the best parts was going to the Universal Cineplex 20, the AMC Theater at the Universal Studios CityWalk in Orlando. It used to be a Lowes theater but AMC bought it a couple of years ago.
We saw “Enchanted” again, since my mom hadn’t seen it as yet. This was my first time at an AMC Theater and I’ll always remember it because of the great “Kung Fu Panda” feature they showed before the movie reminding everyone that “Silence is Golden”…so be quiet during the film. Apparently everyone was paying attention because the audience was good.
But the most interesting part of the theater was the rocking chair seats. The manager told me afterwards in the lobby that it’s an AMC thing. I gotta tell you, it’s a little weird having moving seats at a movie theater.
There was also a display with a cardboard figure of “Wall-E” in the upstairs lobby. Very cool theater.
